I have recently noticed that every time that i brake just as i press the brake pedal, i hear a clunk noise coming from the rear wheels.

Taking it to a mate soon enough, but i was wondering if anyone else has, or had the same problem.

If so, if you fixed it, how so??

Thanks

Does it also make the noise when you take off? When is the last time that you checked the torque on your lug nuts?

well yer, there all good, but i have recently discovered that its not my brakes but its as i take off my foot from the accelerate pedal.

I thought it was the brakes, because just as i was to press the brakes, it would happen, but its not the brakes now.

So im still confused, but somewhat more happy that its not my brakes.

You better check out that clunking noise. The car is telling you something is wrong. If it happens when you release the accelerator, check the throttle linkages.

Ah the Horrible Nosie which no one likes lol......

.....My Celica Had/Has the same problem,......However if you leave it over time it does gets worse, Trust me!!! lol

However after Putting the car into a couple garges, they all said, they cant find a problem with it, so to me either it's going to be too much of a job for them or the problem which is causing it is that small it's hard to spot.

However, Make sure both of your tyres are running even and have the correct PSI in them as my tyres was running un even, and sorting this did improve the problem for some reason.

Tomorrow I'm going to take the wheels off and rub and grease the back of the Alloys and the Hubs as might be rubbing abit as having alot of griding noises also now it's getting worse. However I will keep you posted how I get on

Thanks
